There still are plenty of trip raffle ticket envelopes left in the back of church.  Please take any envelope (names are not on them).  If you can sell more than 12 tickets please consider taking an extra envelope or picking up another one on your way out of church.  Each envelope has 12 tickets ($120).

After every Mass we will be in the back of church.  We have a variety of $10 and $5 raffle ticket items.  We do this to offer the entire parish (and visitors) a chance at winning some great items without needing to attend the event.  It gets pretty lonely in the back after some of the Masses.  Please do stop and take a look at what items we have to offer.  Window shopping is highly recommended.

We have 2 types of raffles (besides the trip raffle tickets).  There are the $10 limited raffle items.  Each raffle chance is $10 (or the best deal is 6 tickets for $50).  These items will be drawn when a certain number of tickets are sold (or will be drawn at the event if the tickets are not sold before then).  We have: Sony Handycam (60 tickets) and ASUS laptop (100 tickets).  Each item is brand new and a great bargain at just $10 per chance.

Starting this weekend, we have added some of our $5 unlimited raffle items.  Each raffle chance is $5 (or the best deal is 6 tickets for $25).  These items will be drawn at the event but all parishioners (and even our visitors) can participate in this raffle.  You need not be present to win.  This weekend we have a Kindle Wireless eBook Reader (have access to 360,000 books at the touch of your fingertips).  We also have a Skil 4 Tool set (drill, sander, orbital jigsaw and flashlight), a Packer 2009 Team Autographed Football, 500 GB Portable Drive for your PC (be smart and backup your documents, music and pictures) and a Blu-ray DVD Player.  Again each item is brand new and a great bargain at just $5 per chance (especially the Kindle).

One other request is for donated items for the raffles and auctions at the event.  We have many talented people in the parish and our event provides a great opportunity for you to donate items or services to help raise funds for the parish.  If you have something you wish to donate, please contact Mike Pokorny (722-5549) or e-mail him mrpokorny@uwalumni.com or see us in the back of Church.  Thanks to all who have supported this event in the past and we hope we can count on your continued support again this year.

Event tickets are on sale.  We are again keeping the price at $30 per ticket.  Early bird drawing for $25 Winter Brake Dollar Certificates will again be held this year so purchase your tickets early!

Q: What’s going on at this year’s event?

A: It is on February 20 at Neenah’s Holiday Inn.  Dinner (sirloin tips, fettuccini alfredo, roasted chicken), Games (Klinko, Tower of Treasure, Darts-Hi/Lo), Raffles (50/50, plus one other), Silent and Live auctions.  MC is Bill Jartz, Auctioneer is Terry Locke (parishioner) and Music (Sound Sensations).

Q: Why at the Holiday Inn and not Waverly Beach?

A: We heard from people that traveling to Menasha was too far to drive.  So we are trying to entice more parishioners to attend by having it in Neenah.

Q: How are the ASUS Laptop and Sony Camcorder   limited ticket raffles going?

A: As of January 19, we have 40 of the 100 tickets sold for the Laptop and 17 of the 60 sold for the Camcorder.
