St. Gabriel Elementary School

St. Gabriel Elementary School is a proud member of Twin City Catholic Educational System (TCCES).

Our mission statement, "Centered in Jesus, St. Gabriel Catholic School is committed to excellence in developing our faith, academics and service," is recited at the beginning of each school day and is practiced continually in all aspects of our school community. Faith, academics and service are our priorities, and this is obvious to anyone who enters our school.

St. Gabriel is a welcoming community that offers a quality education to children in our preschool program for three-year-olds through grade 5. Emphasis is also placed on a safe environment in which children can learn and grow in their faith. In addition to our dedicated classroom teachers, we have specialists who offer courses in computer, art, vocal music, band, and Spanish. Before school and after school programs are offered with the flexibility to fit individual family needs.

We at St. Gabriel thrive on community spirit. There is a high level of parent and family volunteerism throughout the school, as well as a very active PTO. We also welcome retired members of our community to volunteer in the school. In addition, communication between home and school is emphasized and is an integral part of St. Gabriel.

Early Childhood Registration

TCCES Early Childhood and Kindergarten Open House & Registration, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Sunday, January 31, 2010 at all TCCES campuses

Come meet TCCES teachers and administrators, tour classrooms and facilities and receive program information.  TCCES offers:

¨ Programs for two-year-old children up through elementary.

¨ Specialized art, computer, gym, and music, full libraries,   playgrounds, gymnasiums, secured buildings and hot lunch!

¨ Flexible scheduling with a choice of 2, 3 or 5 days a   week programs.

¨ Extended Day Early Childhood Programs and Before and   After School Care.

Half and full day Kindergarten options.

Before & After School Care

Before School Care

Each day the school buildings are open at 7:30 a.m. for child drop-off. Teachers and staff supervise the students until classes begin at 8:00 a.m. There is no charge for this service.

After School Care

This elementary program is available to families who would like additional childcare when the elementary school is dismissed until approximately 5:30 p.m. This program is available to preschoolers at the discretion of the building principal. Fee: $5.00 per hour.
